DLOC “Sent” to Coventry!
Announcing that the
Daimler and Lanchester International Rally 2026
will be in Coventry.
Wednesday 24th June 2026 to Sunday 28th June 2026
It will be based at the Coombe Abbey Hotel, Brinklow Road, Binley, Warwickshire, CV3 2AB
2026 is the 130th anniversary of Daimler building its first car in Coventry, so it seemed the perfect place to hold our rally!

We have arranged with the Coombe Abbey Hotel a preferential double room rate of £135 a night including breakfast, £120inc breakfast for single occupancy On top of this there is parking at the hotel, which is operated separately. It should be £10 a day but we have negotiated a special flat rate of £20 a car (registration number needed) for the five days of our hotel deal.

We plan to offer ideas for unescorted sightseeing tours from the hotel on the Thursday, for example to Stratford Upon Avon, Coventry Cathedral and the City’s museums, Charlecote Park, and other National Trust Properties nearby. However, we plan to arrange special privileged visits on the Friday and Saturday to places with Daimler connections.
Final timetable details are still being worked out. Note our special hotel rate starts on Wed 24th June, though our welcome buffet evening meal will be on Thurs 25th June. Our traditional Gala dinner will be on Sat 27th June. The Sunday rally will be held nearby.
Booking for the Buffet (£30pp) and the Gala Dinner (£60pp) will be via the DLOC website in due course, along with the other events we arrange for the Friday and Saturday. More information about these will be in the Driving Member.
