Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington Airfield is the largest independent aviation museum in the UK.
With a 3,000m runway, it will be familiar to viewers of "Top Gear" as the site of Richard Hammond’s 250 mph crash. However, we won't be driving our cars on the runway! We will be on display right in the heart of the site where members and the public can browse and appreciate our fine vehicles.
There is a marvellous collection of aircraft from a Wright Flyer to many Cold War aircraft - and there's even a real Atomic Bomb on display (well, OK - just the shell, but scary enough). The museum has a Daimler Dingo Scout car and we hope that it will join us on the day.
It's a dog-friendly site with lots to see and do and the NAAFI is something else - a 5 Star TripAdvisor recommended cafe.
The Rally Entry Fee includes a £14 Fee for the Air Museum.
